Good Monday everyone!
This morning while perusing one of my favourite design blogs (the ever-popular Design*Sponge), I came across this posting on one of Anthropologie's latest window treatments. It reminded me of West Elm's Lattice Spheres but with a bit more of a rustic charm about it. Isn't it cool to see how creative you can get with some wood veneer/bamboo?! Hmmm...this could make for a pretty interesting diy project!

Designer Spotlight
Today's posting is a shout out to a designer that I recently stumbled upon while researching various logo designs for a project I'm starting to work on. Her name is Heather Kerchner and she's a graphic designer from Pennsylvania.
While her overall design sense is inspiring, I'm particularly taken with her use of typography. You can see it in the logos that I've selected to show off below, but please go and take a look at her website because there is just a lot of really great work to be seen there. I'm also very intrigued by her website design...it's a skill that I'm in awe of - especially considering my current web design ineptitude - and a skill that I hope to cultivate in the future with as much form and function as Heather does.

Heather's designs are clever, whimsical and clean. She's one of those people who you just want to HATE because she's just so GOOD!
